The Arab Education Counsellors & Agents Federation (AECAF) unites education professionals from across the Arab region under one mission — to elevate the standards of international education counselling and strengthen the Arab voice in global education.

Through strategic partnerships, professional training programs, and regional initiatives, AECAF empowers members to enhance their competencies, expand their global networks, and represent Arab students with integrity and excellence on the international stage.

Organize and oversee an annual networking and gathering event for all Arab Education Agents and Counsellors to discuss and issue the Federation's annual bulletin.

Mr. Fadi Kalbuneh is one of the most established and respected figures in the international education sector in Saudi Arabia and the Arab region. With over 27 years of experience starting in 1997, he is widely recognized as the longest-serving education agent in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. As Chairman of this network, Mr. Kalbuneh holds a position nominated and appointed thanks to the trust of his peers. His leadership at Al Sarh Travel & Tourism has transformed the company into a dynamic, multi-service brand offering educational and medical tourism, visa facilitation, and travel insurance. Al Sarh Travel & Tourism recently earned a Guinness World Record title for the largest travel agency hall in the world. Fluent in three foreign languages, he leverages his linguistic and intercultural skills to form robust international partnerships and confidently guide students through cultural and educational systems.

Mohamed Abdel Tawab is the visionary founder of BESA Group, established in 2012 as Egypt's first Educational Agency and first British Council-accredited agency. His career includes a significant ten-year tenure at the British Council, culminating as the Regional Marketing Communications Manager for the MENA region, where he led campaigns connecting thousands with UK Culture and Education. Under his leadership, BESA Group has grown from a small initiative into a trusted international platform, helping over 12,000 students from more than 18 nationalities study in 26 countries. Today, BESA operates across the UK, Egypt, Sudan, UAE, and Saudi Arabia. Mr. Abdel Tawab holds an MBA from Anglia Ruskin University and is currently preparing for his DPA (Doctorate in Public Administration). His ongoing commitment is focused on innovation, expanding BESA’s reach across Africa and Asia.

Based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, Dr. Saleh Al-Tahboush is a visionary Academic Leader and Education Entrepreneur with a PhD in Management and over 26 years of UAE government expertise. He is the driving force behind UNI STUDENT (founded 2015), specializing in guiding students toward prestigious international university admissions through strategic partnerships globally. His passion for student empowerment led him to oversee the IFG Training Center (offering foundation programs and test preparation) and spearhead UNI FAIRS, a platform connecting UAE students with leading universities. Dr. Al-Tahboush integrates government discipline with academic innovation to elevate Middle Eastern education. His blend of strategic discipline and operational acumen makes him a strong asset in opening global horizons for every student.

Dr. Salah Joubran brings over two decades of leadership experience from both the private and academic sectors in hospitality and tourism management. His current roles include Managing Director of ETCS-UK (Education & Training Consultation Service) since 2013 and International Research Publisher (IRP) since 2021, where he works to advance industry standards and research. Dr. Joubran has also served as the Leader of the Libya Community in Wales (LCW) since 2022, enhancing community support for Libyan nationals in Wales. He has lectured at the Libya Higher Academy for Postgraduate Studies (Janzor, Libya) and the Hotels & Tourism Management College, Tripoli. A published academic, his recent work focused on the influences of financial compensation and role stress on tourism employees' job satisfaction.

Dr. Mohamed El Naggar is a distinguished leader in international education. He currently serves as the Chairman of both EgyTEFL and SwedTEFL Organizations. He is an accredited International Education Counselor, with recognition from ICEF, Foreign Affairs & International Trade Canada (CCIÉM), and PIER. Additionally, he is an authorized representative for educational institutions worldwide. Dr. El Naggar's expertise extends to training and moderation for renowned organizations, including the British Council and the U.S. Embassy’s Cultural Club IRC. He is also an affiliated partner with the Egyptian State Alumni Community at the U.S. Embassy and a board member with TVET at the German Arab Chamber. His efforts are focused on inspiring and enabling the future of the next generations.

Mr. Ahmed Marzouk is a multilingual, impact-driven leader with over 15 years of professional experience spanning education, finance, and technology sectors across Poland, Ireland, the UAE, and Morocco. He is the founder of Global Plus immigration (G.P.I), an educational consulting agency initially based in Poland, with a vision to empower students from the MENA region to access quality higher education in Europe. The agency's headquarters strategically relocated to Morocco in 2025 to reinforce its regional footprint and outreach to underserved communities across North Africa. As a candidate for the Public Relationships Director role, he brings a blend of operational excellence, strategic communication, and cultural fluency. Mr. Marzouk is fluent in Arabic, French, English, and Polish.

Dr. Bader Abdulla Salem Al Jaberi holds a Doctorate in Human Development Planning and is a certified assessor for the EFQM Excellence Model. He has extensive experience in national excellence and planning, having served as Director of the National Excellence Department at the Ministry of Justice. His diverse public administration experience includes several leadership roles at the Ministry of Education, such as Director of the Technical Office in the Administration and Financial Affairs Sector and Director of the Employee Training and Qualification Center. He also worked as an expert and trainer at the UAE Institute of Administrative Development. Currently, Dr. Al Jaberi is a family and educational administrator at Al Amal Center and has been a family counselor since 2014. His diverse background makes him a valuable asset to the board.

Mr. Jamel Jemni is a tenured professor at the University of Sfax specializing in American Culture Studies and has been involved in education since 1988. He is also a Fulbright Scholar (2003/2004). Based in Sfax, Tunisia, he serves as an education advisor and an ETS-certified Exam Center Administrator. He is the co-founder and co-owner of Wanderlust I. L. C., established in 2004, which is devoted to providing a wide range of education and study abroad services. Mr. Jemni is dedicated to providing quality service for the Tunisian new generation seeking international education and language learning, with services also extended to international students who wish to study in Tunisia.

He brings over 18 years of experience guiding hundreds of students to high-quality education in destinations including the UK, USA, Canada, Germany, and Turkey. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, he has built a trusted education consultancy that acts as a bridge between Libyan students and global institutions. His motivation for board membership is to contribute to a unified body that connects and empowers education agencies across the Arab region. He aims to represent the North African perspective and support collaborative initiatives to advance the mission of Arab education agencies across the MENA region.

Mr. Abdulrahman Soman is the Founder & Managing Director of Levntura, an organization operating in Jordan and Egypt focused on international education and cultural exchange. He holds an Engineering degree from the University of Jordan. With over 7 years of experience in international student recruitment and visa guidance, he has guided hundreds of young people toward international experiences through programs like Work & Travel, Camp Counselor, and J-1 Internship/Trainee placements in the U.S. and other destinations. His mission is to empower the next generation with global exposure and practical experience by creating accessible and ethical exchange opportunities for Arab youth. He continues to collaborate with scholarship providers and cultural organizations to open doors for students across the MENA region.

His student-centered approach prioritizes ethical advising and long-term success. Mr. Alenezi is a founding member of the Arab Union of Education Agencies and is an active participant in global education forums like ICEF. He champions accessibility and quality in educational consulting, working to expand regional networks with universities and scholarship bodies to empower Arab youth.

He leads Edu2Future LLC, an ICEF-accredited education consultancy based in Michigan, United States, and works closely with both government-sponsored and U.S.-based students. Adham also serves in a strategic leadership role at Professional Contracting and Consulting Inc.. He is a board member of the Jordanian American Business Council (JABC), where he supports initiatives in education and entrepreneurship. He is passionate about guiding students in adapting to the future of work shaped by emerging technologies.
